Reset a FSS Batch

The process of resetting a submission file, removes the Created flag (check mark) from the tenant work files so that they may be included in a file when the Create 50058 Submission file is run again.

NOTE: Files that have had a ticket number assigned will not be reset.

Reset the Batch File

NAVIGATION: ACTIVITIES menu > FSS Only File

  1. Click the RESET SUBMISSION FILE button.
  2. In the 50058 SAVED BATCHES window, select/highlight the 50058 file to be reset.
  3. Click RESET.
  4. Click OK when the process is complete.

Print Report

NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > FSS Only Files

  1. Enter a check mark in the appropriate GROUP CODE.
  2. Enter or select the EFFECTIVE DATE of the action.
    1. The report will show all the 50058s created on and before the entered effective date.
  3. Select your sort preferences.
  4. Preview or print the report (see Report Preview, Print and Save Options).

Create a Submission File

NAVIGATION: ACTIVITIES menu > FSS Only File

  1. Enter a check mark in the appropriate GROUP CODE.
  2. Ensure the Batch ID is blank.
  3. Leave EFFECTIVE DATE FROM blank.
  4. Enter or select the EFFECTIVE DATE TO. This should be the same date as the effective date used in running the Pending Submission Report.
  5. Confirm the PHA CODE is correct.
  6. Enter the file name used for the 50058 files ending with .asc.
  7. Click CREATE FILE.
  8. Click OK when the process is complete.

Verify the Submission File

NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > By Submission

  1. Click the browse box next to the CREATE DATE.  Select the file.
  2. Click PREVIEW and review the report to ensure all 50058s were included in the submission file.

Upload the Submission File

NAVIGATION: ACTIVITIES menu > PIC Website (Manual) or if available PIC Website (Auto)

FOR MANUAL SUBMISSION

  1. Enter your User ID and Password.
  2. Follow HUD's procedures to upload the submission file.

FOR AUTOMATIC SUBMISSION

NOTE: PIC Website (Auto) and the Submission Review Control Center programs are only available if the 50058 Submission Settings file has the User Specific Information entered for the PIC Logon and password.

  1. The program will use the default PIC Logon and Password information from the settings file.
  2. Follow HUD's procedures to upload the submission files.
  3. Submission files can also be reviewed and sent in the Submission.
