How To Add Deficiencies to an Inspectable Item

NAVIGATION: MAINTAIN menu > Dictionary Maintenance

Select the Dictionary Book(DCD2.3 contains HUD authorized Inspection terms)
Select the Inspectable Items to which the deficiency applies
Enter in the deficiency in the Deficiency Key field and tab (this will drop the text info the Full Deficiency field)
In the Print Indicator field, select the appropriate option for how the deficiency is to print on the inspection form from the following:
Always Print
Detail Only
Never Print
Summary Only
In the Dflt Repair Within field, select the appropriate option (set in Dictionary Books) for the time a repair would take.
Click SAVE
