Unemployment Reports

Federal Unemployment Liability Report

Follow these steps to generate a federal unemployment liability report for the date range entered.

NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > Payroll Reports > Unemployment Reports > Federal Unemployment Report

  1. Start Date: Enter or select a beginning date for the report range.
  2. End Date: Enter or select an ending date for the report range.
  3. Print Full SSN: check the box to print the full social security number on the report
  4. Sort Order: Click in the circle to select the preview/print out order for the report.
    1. Number
    2. Name
  5. Preview or print the report (see Report Preview, Print and Save Options)

State Unemployment Report

Follow these steps to generate a state unemployment liability report for the entered state for the date range specified.

NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > Payroll Reports > Unemployment Reports > State Unemployment Report

  1. Start Date: Enter or select a beginning date for the report range.
  2. End Date: Enter or select an ending date for the report range.
  3. State Code: Enter a state code for the report or leave blank for all.
    1. State codes are created when a state is setup in the State Unemployment Tax Table.
  4. Deduction/Expense Code
    1. Enter or select a deduction or expense code to restrict the report; leave blank for all
    2. Description: when a valid code is selected, the description will appear
  5. Print Full SSN: check the box to print the full social security number on the report
  6. Sort Order: Click in the circle to select the preview/print out order for the report.
    1. Number
    2. Name
  7. Preview or print the report (see Report Preview, Print and Save Options)

State Benefit Week Report

Follow these steps to generate a State Unemployment Liability Report with benefit weeks and includes the option of running the Calculate Benefit Weeks program. 

NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > Payroll Reports > Unemployment Reports > State Benefit Week

  1. Start Date: Enter or select a beginning date for the report range.
  2. End Date: Enter or select an ending date for the report range.
  3. State Code: Enter a state code for the report or leave blank for all.
    1. State codes are created when a state is setup in the State Unemployment Tax Table.
  4. Deduction/Expense Code
    1. Enter or select a deduction or expense code to restrict the report; leave blank for all
    2. Description: when a valid code is selected, the description will appear
  5. Print Full SSN: check the box to print the full social security number on the report
  6. Sort Order: Click in the circle to select the preview/print out order for the report.

  7. Calculate Benefit Weeks
    1. Click the calculate button to begin the process of calculating the benefit weeks.
    2. After the calculation has finished an Information box will be shown with the message "Process Complete"
    3. Click OK to close the program.
  8. Preview or print the report (see Report Preview, Print and Save Options)
