How to Create and Upload the PA 1099 File

This How to is for Section 8 1099s.  When submitting 1099s electronically, there is no need to print the red copy or the 1096.  

Section 8 1099s and Accounts Payable 1099s may all be created in the same file and may be sent to the IRS as one electronic submission.  There is no need to create two different files, unless you prefer or have separate EIN numbers for Financials and Section 8.

Note:  Make sure the name control field is filled in for all records, see Review Name Control
