If you operate a training center, you can enter the work that the consumers are completing daily at the training center.  The job entries will complete two functions:  create the billable service tickets from the job entries you can generate/calculate the consumer pay. Horizon will work with you to set-up the jobs properly.

Enter Job Details

NAVIGATION: TRANSACTIONS menu > Job Processes > Job Entry

  1. The WORK NUMBER will automatically be assigned after you save the record.  
  2. In the WORK DATE field, type the date the service was provided or click the CALENDAR icon to view the calendar and click on the date.  Press the TAB key.
  3. Select the consumer by typing the case number in the case number field or use the browse button to view the list of all consumers. The consumer name and case number will auto-populate at the top of the screen.  Press the TAB key.
  4. In the FACILITY field, if it doesn't automatically populate, click the browse button to view the list of facilities.  Select the correct facility and click OK.  Press the TAB key.
  5. In the EMPLOYEE NAME field, your name will automatically populate.  Press the TAB key.
  6. in the TYPE OF CONTACT field, use the drop down to view the list of options.  Select the correct type of contact.  Press the TAB key.
  7. In the JOB CODE field, select the job group.  Press the TAB key.
  8. In the STEP CODE field, select the specific activity the individual was working on.  Press the TAB key.
  9. Add the start time and end time in the appropriate fields. The time needs to be four digits, i.e., 9:30 would need entered as 0930.  Press the TAB key.
  10. If it is a piece job, enter the number of pieces completed in the PIECES field. Press the TAB key.  The grid at the bottom of the screen will populate with the entry so you can keep track of the information already entered.
  11. To enter the next activity, start at the TYPE OF CONTACT and repeat steps 6 through 10.  
  12. To start entries for the next individual, click the CLEAR button at the top of the screen.  This will clear all the information and you can start by entering the work date.  
  13. To enter a note related to the job, the last column of the grid is an image of a piece of paper. Click the image and a JOB NOTE dialog box will appear. Type the note and click the SAVE NOTE button.

Job Entry Edit List

This report will provide you with a listing of all the job entries entered into the system. The report should be reviewed before proceeding with the rest of the job processes.

NAVIGATION: TRANSACTIONS menu > Job Processes > Job Entry Edit List

  1. In the DATE SELECTION fields, enter the start and end date.
  2. You can restrict the report to either employee, type of contact, or consumer by selecting the options.
  3. In the FACILITY SELECTIONS section, select the facilities you want to run the report for by clicking the check box before the facility name.
  4. In the OPTIONS section, review these settings:
    1. ALL SERVICES: will show a list of both services created and services not created.
    2. SERVICE CREATED: will show the services that were created based on the job entry.
    3. SERVICE NOT CREATED: will show the services that were not created during the job entry process, i.e., entry was started but not completed. If the report is blank, all services were created from the job entry.
  5. Place a check mark in the NOTIFY box and click the RUN REPORT button.
  6. Review the edit list. If anything needs corrected, go back to the Job Entry and make necessary corrections.
  7. Move to the next step to Create Services from Job Entry
