
Review and Edit Services using Service Maintenance
Reviewing Services
NAVIGATION: ANALYSIS menu > Service Maintenance
- Select a consumer by typing the case number in the CASE NUMBER field or use the browse button to view the list of all consumers. You can also tab to the LAST NAME field and begin typing the last name to select from a list of consumers.
- Enter the dates of service in the BEGIN DATE and END DATE fields.
- To restrict the list by facility, service code, or payor select the information in the appropriate fields.
- Click the REBUILD button to show all the services in the grid.
- In the grid there are several options:
- BATCH # column: click on the link to go to the Time Based Entry screen to review the details of the service provided.
- AR TRACKING column: if a number appears in this column, this is the tracking number linked to the payment received for the service provided.
- SERVICE column: if you have documentation linked to specific service codes, when you click on the service code link the completed documentation will appear.
Roll Back Services
If the service has already been billed, you will need to roll back the service in order to make edits to or delete the service ticket. This option will take the service out of history and put back into the entry area so you can make edits. If the AR was already processed, this will also mark the AR.
- Select a consumer.
- Enter the dates of service in the BEGIN DATE and END DATE fields.
- To restrict the list by facility, service code, or payor select the information in the appropriate fields.
- Click the REBUILD button to show all the services in the grid.
- Find the entry you want to roll back.
- Place a check in the box at the beginning of the line.
- Click the ROLL BACK SERVICE icon.
- Now you can EDIT or DELETE the service.
Edit Services
NAVIGATION: ANALYSIS menu > Service Maintenance
- Select a consumer.
- Enter the dates of service in the BEGIN DATE and END DATE fields.
- To restrict the list by facility, service code, or payor select the information in the appropriate fields.
- Click the REBUILD button to show all the services in the grid.
- Find the entry you want to edit and click on the BATCH ID.
- The time based entry screen will appear. Check the SHOW SERVICE DETAIL check box to see the complete ticket information.
- Make the edits and then click SAVE at the top of the screen.
Delete Services
This option will totally reverse the service back out of aging and delete the notes related to the service. Typically, services should only be deleted if entered in error.

- To restrict the list by facility, service code, or payor select the information in the appropriate fields.
- Click the REBUILD button to show all the services in the grid.
- To DELETE a service entry, select the line by checking the box to the left. On the right side of the screen, click the DELETE SERVICE icon. This option will totally reverse the service back out of aging and delete the notes related to the service. Typically, services should only be deleted if entered in error.
