Copy Facility Fee File

As facilities are set-up in the Facility Master, the FEE FOR SERVICE tab must include the service codes, approved rates as listed on the service authorization, active status, begin date, procedure code, and provider number.   

The Copy Facility Fee File process will copy the fee for service information from an existing facility to a new facility that is being set-up.  You would want to use this process when the new facility has the same/similar service codes as an existing facility.

NAVIGATION: UTILITIES menu > Copy Facility Fee File

  1. Select the facility you want to copy the fees from.
  2. In the COPY TO section, select the facility you want to copy the fees to.
  3. Click the PROCESS icon.
  4. Give the system time to process. An informational prompt will appear when the process is complete.
  5. Go to the FACILITY MASTER (MAINTAIN menu > Master Tables > Facility Tables > Facility Master).
  6. Select the facility you copied the fee file to.
  7. The fee for service tab should be populated with the information you copied.  Review the service codes and rate to be sure the information matches the service authorizations for the new facility.
  8. Change the provider ID number to reflect the new facility.
  9. Save the changes to the new facility.
