Fix 404 File Error When Running Reports

There may be times when you run a report but when the report is finished processing, you receive an error with the details:  

Server Error

404 - File or directory not found

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  

Typically this problem occurs when click the NOTIFY option when running reports but your internet browser blocks pop-up's on your computer.  

If you click the NOTIFY option, when the report generates it opens in a new window (a pop-up).  If you have pop-ups blocked in your internet browser, the report won't display.  

You can open reports from the dashboard regardless of the pop-up settings.  

To resolve the problem:

  1. Clear the cache in your internet browser (Chrome directions)
  2. Allow pop-ups from the Stratus Cloud site - directions depend on your browser

For directions, simply do a search for the internet browser you are using.
