There are several automatic processes in the system that will help you create new rates and authorization information for the next fiscal year.

If services are entered before the Facility Master Fee for Service tab and consumer service authorizations are updated, typically one of the rebuild processes will need processed.

Rebuild Rates

This process will rebuild rates for the one facility, payor, or service code.

NAVIGATION: UTILITIES menu > Rebuild Processes > Rebuild Rates

  1. In the DATE RANGE section, enter the time frame.
  2. Select any other options:
    1. Facility
    2. Payor
    3. Service Code
  3. Place a check mark in the options to mark all records as billable or update paid records with new rates.
  4. Click the PROCESS icon.
  5. Give the system time to process the rates. An informational prompt will appear when the process is complete.
  6. Review the Service Detail Report

Rebuild Rates All Facilities

This process will rebuild rates for all active facilities.

NAVIGATION: UTILITIES menu > Rebuild Processes > Rebuild Rates All Facilities

  1. In the DATE RANGE section, enter the time frame.
  2. Select either the payor or service code options.
  3. Place a check mark in the options to mark all records as billable.
  4. Click the PROCESS icon.
  5. Give the system time to process the rates. An informational prompt will appear when the process is complete.

Rebuild Authorizations

This process will allow you to use the current fiscal year service authorizations and create the same authorizations for the new fiscal year.

NAVIGATION: UTILITIES menu > Rebuild Processes > Rebuild Authorizations

  1. In the AUTHORIZATION ID field, use the browse button to review the current authorizations in the system. Select the authorization you want to duplicate.
  2. The authorization details will appear in the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click the PROCESS icon.
  4. Give the system time to process the authorization. An informational prompt will appear when the process is complete.
