There may be times when you need to change a service code for a specific time frame due to authorization issues.

NAVIGATION: UTILITIES menu > Switch Service Codes

  1. In the DATE RANGE section, enter the time frame.

  2. In the FACILITY section, select the facility.

  3. In the SERVICE CODE section, select the service code you want to replace.

  4. In the CASE NUMBER section, select the consumer you want to change the service codes for.

  5. In the NEW SERVICE CODE section, select the new code you want to be current for the consumer.

  6. Click the PROCESS icon.

  7. Give the system time to process. An informational prompt will appear when the process is complete.
