Reverse a Posted Client Income

Income transactions that have not been posted may be deleted. If an income entry was posted, enter a negative entry to reverse the original transaction.

NAVIGATION:  ACTIVITIES menu > Income Entry

Delete an Entry that is Not Posted

  1. In the BATCH ID field, open the browse by clicking the magnifying glass
  2. Find and select the entry that you do not want to post. 
  3. Click OK
  4. When the transaction has been selected and detail is displayed on the screen, click DELETE at the top of the screen
  5. Click YES on the prompt to delete the record. 

Reverse Posted Income

Once an income entry has been posted, it cannot be changed or deleted. If an entry was posted, enter a negative entry to reverse the original transaction.  

  1. Follow the steps to Income - Enter Income
  2. In the amount field, enter the negative amount you want to remove from the client.
  3. Be sure to use the same date as the original transaction.
