
How To Create a Batch of Purge Letters
Verify that there is a Purge Letter Template setup in the Waiting List Module before you begin.
NAVIGATION: TOOLS menu > Merge Setup > Merge Template
Public Housing/Multi Family Purge Letters
NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > Waiting List (By Bedroom Size)
- Select the APPLICATION FOR.
- Select the WAITING LIST.
- There are many selections available; however, for purging, leave options as they appear
- Check the CREATE MERGE INTERFACE box (bottom left).
- This box MUST be checked for the system to create a batch of letters based on the current Waiting List report.
- Press the PREVIEW Button.
- Close the report.
NAVIGATION: REPORTS menu > Batch Letters and Forms (at bottom)
- Select the Letter Code for the purge template - click on the magnifying glass to see available letters.
- Press the BUILD FROM LAST REPORT button along the right side.
- Change the Letter Date if needed (this date usually prints at the top of the letter).
- The grid should display the applicants in the order they appeared on the report.
- Press the PRINT BATCH button.
- Press the START button.
- After all letters are printed, close the screen.

- Select the WAITING LIST.
