How To Edit an Application

NAVIGATION: ACTIVITIES menu > Applicant Master

  1. Enter or select an Application For and press TAB key.
  2. Enter or select the Tracking Number or the Applicant's last name.
    1. VERIFY THAT CORRECT APPLICANT IS DISPLAYED
    2. If the Applicant's file is "Read Only", NAVIGATION: QUICK LINK menu > Unlock Applicant File to get into "Edit Mode".
  3. There are several ways that an Applicant can be edited. Examples:
    1. Add Applicant to another Waiting List.
    2. Change the Caseworker code.
    3. Edit tab page information.
    4. Edit information for a member in Household Composition.
    5. Edit Income; Asset or Deduction Information.

Add to Additional Waiting List

  1. Within Applicant Master, the Information Tabs are listed from left to right beneath the applicant name fields. By default, the Main Tab is displayed first.
  2. CLICK ON THE ADD TO LIST BUTTON ON THE MAIN SCREEN.
  3. Tracking Number will default to current Tracking Number.
  4. User may change the Application Date and Time depending on Internal Policy.
  5. Enter the correct Bedroom Size. Press TAB key.
  6. Select the appropriate Code by pressing the BROWSE Button.
  7. Press BUILD AVAILABLE LISTS.
  8. Check all Waiting Lists that need added.
  9. Press the ADD Button.
  10. New lists will appear in the Grid Area.

Edit Information on Tab Pages

  1. Users may also make changes to tabs across the Middle of the screen.
  2. To do this simply click on the Current Address, Mailing, General, Previous Address, Previous HA, References, Emergency, Pets/Vehicles, Actions, or Notes Tabs.
  3. Make necessary changes and Save Without Clearing.

Household Composition

  1. Users may also make changes to Household Composition member information.
  2. If a current member needs Edited, double click on that member and make necessary changes.  REMEMBER TO SAVE WHEN CHANGES ARE MADE.
  3. If a member needs Added, press QUICK LINK and select HOUSEHOLD COMPOSITION.  Enter a New Member following the Same Procedure as outlined on ENTERING AN APPLICATION.

Income, Asset or Deduction Information

  1. If user needs to make a change to a Members Income, Asset, or Deduction, Double Click on that Member.
  2. To add an Income, Asset, or Deduction press QUICK LINK and enter the Line item.
  3. To edit an Income, Asset, or Deduction, double click on that Line Item and make necessary changes.
  4. After all changes have been made, go to SAVE without clearing view to stay in "Edit Mode."
    1. The applicant's file will automatically return to "Read Only" mode when a Save is done that clears the screen or when the file is closed.
    2. Or the file can be locked by going to Quick Link > Lock Applicant File.
