Vouchers may also be issued and recorded using the Housing Choice Voucher form found under Quick Link>>Custom Forms and Letters. See How to Issue a Voucher Using the HCV Form.
Go to Maintain>>Applicants (Active)
Select the Application For
The program may default to the correct Application For or use the browse button to select one
Skip the Tracking Number field
Enter the Applicant's Last Name and select
Open the Actions tab by clicking on it
Click the Add Action Item button
Select Voucher Issued as the Action Code using the browse button
If the code does not exist, please contact the Horizon Help Desk for assistance
After selecting the Voucher Issued code, a Date Issued field will appear. Enter the date the voucher will be issued.
Checkmark the box beside the appropriate Section 8 list
Click the Save button in the bottom right corner
After the Save button is clicked, the system will generate the Voucher Issued 50058 (Code 10)
Print the 50058, if applicable
After printing or not printing the 50058, the system will return to the Actions tab. A Voucher Issued code will be displayed in the Actions grid.
Open the Main tab by clicking it
At the bottom of the view, users will see a yellow information box the will display the Voucher Issued Date and the Voucher Expired Date
Click the Save button and close the Application Master
