
Daily Note - Consumer Master
This section will allow you to enter a general, simple note for the consumer. This note is different than the service documentation linked to a claim/billable record.
NAVIGATION: MAINTAIN menu > Consumers > Action panel > Note Actions > Daily icon
- Select a consumer by typing the case number in the CASE NUMBER field or use the browse button to view the list of all consumers. You can also tab to the LAST NAME field and begin typing the last name to select from a list of consumers.
- In the ACTION panel, Note Actions section click the DAILY icon. The DAILY NOTE dialog box will appear.
- You do not need to enter the case number or consumer name at the top of the dialog box. This information will be auto-populated based on the consumer you selected at the Consumer Master screen.
- The Note Date will display the current date. To change the date, type a new date in the NOTE DATE field or use the calendar to select the date.
- In the NOTES field, type any desired information.
- Click SAVE at the top of the screen. When you save the note, a Note ID User Created, and Date Created will be generated and saved with the note.
- To VIEW daily notes that were previously entered for the consumer:
- Select the consumer on the Consumer Master screen.
- In the ACTION panel, Note Actions section click the DAILY icon.
- When the DAILY NOTE dialog box appears, on the top right in the Documentation Reference section, click the arrow next to Daily Notes.
- A list of all notes entered will be displayed. Click on the note you want to view.
- To EDIT a previously entered note:
- Click the browse button next to Note ID.
- Select the note you want to edit and click OK.
- The note will appear on the screen so you can make your desired changes.
- Click SAVE when you are done editing.
- To DELETE a previously entered note:
- Click the browse button next to Note ID.
- Select the note you want to delete and click OK. The note will appear on the screen.
- Click DELETE at the top of the dialog box.
- You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the record. If you click YES, the note will be deleted from the system. If you click NO, you will return to the DAILY NOTE dialog box.
- To add the contents of a previous note to a new note, click on the note in the DOCUMENTATION REFERENCE section. The content of the note will display in the Selected Value for Daily Note section. This content can be added to a new note by clicking the INSERT TO NOTE button.
- To PRINT entered note, run the Job Note List.
