This program is used to create and maintain Application For Codes for use in the Applicants (Active) program. At least one Application For Code must be created for the module.
At the top of the view are functions such as save and clear. for more information on functions click here.
To create a new Application For Code, enter a one or two digit alpha-numeric code for the program type of the Application.
To view/ edit a current code, type the code in the field and hit enter key, or select it from the browse box menu.
For a new Application For Code, enter up to a 30 digit alpha-numeric description for the Application For Code. The description will automatically display for an existing code that has been selected. Descriptions may be changed.
For an existing Application For Code this field will either display the last number used to enter an applicant using the selected Application For Code or the field will be filled with 9s.
If the field contains all 9s, then users can assign a unique tracking number of their choosing when entering a new applicant.
For a new Application For Code, enter a number to have the system assign and track an applicant's number, or enter all 9s in the field, indicating that you will be entering the tracking numbers manually.

Select one of the following options:

Using Member Effective Age - uses effective age in member screen to determine elderly/near elderly status
Using Member Effective Age (Update Status) - uses effective age in member screen to determine elderly/near elderly status and updates member information
The Elderly Status Mode will be used when printing waiting lists and status reports that use elderly status in household comp.
Users may enter preferences which will show in the Applicant Master on the General Tab under Preference Control. Custom preferences may be weighted for each waiting list, in the Waiting List Master.
For the Online Waiting List additional description information may be entered for the Custom Preferences (1-12) that have been entered on the previous tab.
Income limits are set by the government and must be entered into the system. If limits are to be specific to each waiting list, they may be entered here for each Application For that is setup. If these limits are blank the program will look for the income information from either the County Master or the Settings file.
If income limits are to be specific for each Application For, then enter the income levels based on the information from HUD for Low, Very Low and Extremely Low income limits for each family size.
Enter the date the new income limits will become effective.
Click this button to save the income limit information to history. This is important to have the old income limits available by date until new limits become effective.
