Income limit information is published and updated yearly by HUD and is found at www.huduser.org.
Income limits are used within housing programs in the calculation of rents.
For the Waiting List program, income limits maybe entered in one or more of the following:
Where your income limits are entered and maintained will be determined based on how the program needs to work for the Housing Authority.
For Example:
If the Housing Authority uses only one set of income limits, the information may be entered into Waiting List Settings.
If income limits differ based on program, income limit information may be entered into the Application For Master for each Application For Code.
If income limits differ based on a waiting list the applicant is on, the information may be entered into the Waiting List Master for each Waiting List Code.
If income limits differ based on the county the applicant will reside in and the HA serves multiple counties, the information may be entered into the County Master.
The County Master is available in all the housing modules. If information is entered for the county, it will be available or updated in all modules.
