This program is used to setup and maintain tracking, data paths and other information entered to control how the program works.
Enter the names of the inspectors on the lines. Leave the extra lines blank. The system will handle up to 10 inspectors. The numbers will be their handheld number.
This field displays the last inspection number used in the Inspection Master. The system will track/update this number as inspections are entered or pulled.
Enter the PHA code assigned by HUD in this area.
When a checkmark is shown in this box, the program will not allow Inspection Information in the Inspection Master to be deleted. Inspections will have to be voided to remove them from the active information.
Enter the network path to the Inspection data.
For Example:

Enter the network path to the Public Housing data.
For Example:

Enter the network path to the Section 8 data.

If this box is checked, the Smoke Detectors section in the Inspection Master on the Other Inspection tab will not be available. Smoke Detectors will be an inspectable dictionary item.
If this box is checked, the Condition of Unit section in the Inspection Master on the Other Inspection tab will not be available. Condition of Unit will be an inspectable dictionary item.
If this box is checked, the Housekeeping section in the Inspection Master on the Other Inspection tab will not be available. Housekeeping will be an inspectable dictionary item.
During implementation of the software module, the Inspection Form format number for Public Housing will be entered. This number should not be changed unless instructed by Horizon personnel.

For reporting/submission purposes, enter the Public Housing Authority's name in this field.
For reporting/submission purposes, enter the name of the county in which the Public Housing Authority resides.
Select a Category Code that is to serve as the default Work Order Category for a passed initial inspection that may need a work order generated.
Enter a description for the initial inspection passed category.
Select a Category Code that is to serve as the default Work Order Category for a failed initial inspection that may need a work order generated.
Enter a description for the initial inspection failed category.
Select a Category Code that is to serve as the default Work Order Category for a passed quality control inspection that may need a work order generated.
Enter a description for the quality control passed category.
Select a Category Code that is to serve as the default Work Order Category for a failed quality control inspection that may need a work order generated.
Enter a description for the quality control failed category.
A checkmark in this field indicates that the inspection will print and save to a file.
Select a default Work Order Service Code .
Enter a default time requested in a hh:mm format and indicate A or P for am or pm. If this field is left blank, the system will use the current time as the Time Requested.
Select one of the following Next Inspection update modes:
No Update to Next Inspection Due Date
One Year from Current Inspection Due Date
One Year from Actual Date Inspected
Place a checkmark in any of the following that apply:
Update When Annual Inspection
Update When Special Inspection
Update When Quality Inspection
Update When Move-Out Inspection
Update When Reinspection
Update When Initial Inspection
Select one of the following next inspection date mode:
Record Next Inspection on First Day of the Month
Record Next Inspection on Last Day of the Month
Select a default bedroom code from the Inspectable Areas (Rooms) browse.
Enter a checkmark in the box if the system should automatically create a 50058 for Section 8 inspections.
For any merge letter/form, enter the Authority's name, address and phone information to be used as merge fields for letterheads. The header information can be used on any form, it does not have to be a public housing letter/form.
Check the Retain Room Setup box to have programs retain this information.
Place a checkmark in this field to have the module integrate with user's outlook calendar.
Enter the default appointment time for Section 8.
Enter the default appointment time for Tenant Management.
Enter the default time that Inspectors would begin a normal work day in a hh:mm format.
Enter the default time that inspectors would end a normal work day in a hh:mm format.

Enter the path/name where outlook may be interfaced to.
